"Where Good Neighbors Make A Difference"
Thank You for visiting the page of the North Hawthorne Community Association (NHCA).
We are an association residents (homeowners and renters) in the northern section of the wonderful City of Hawthorne. Our boundaries include north of El Segundo Boulevard, east of Inglewood Avenue, and west of Crenshaw Boulevard all the way to Northern border of the City.
North Hawthorne is the former home of the Beach Boys. It is also the location of the Beach Boys monument that is visited by hundreds of tourists every year. North Hawthorne also is home to Hawthorne City Hall, Hawthorne Police Station, the famous Hawthorne Water Tower, the Hawthorne Airport, many aerospace businesses such as Northrop and Space X, 2 city parks, and much much more.
We have an active community presence and our membership is reflective of all of the residents within our boundaries. While we focus on supporting North Hawthorne residents, we have a collaborative relationship with other Hawthorne homeowners/neighborhood associations, working together to improve the quality of life for all Hawthorne residents.
The objectives of the North Hawthorne Community Association are:
a) To be a unified voice on issues which affect North Hawthorne residents.
b) To monitor governmental and industrial activities for the purpose of intervening if such activities should have a negative impact on our community.
c) To gather and disseminate information on issues relevant to our community.
d) To hold a minimum of four general membership meetings per calendar year.
e) To be a non-partisan organization; therefore, we will not take part in party politics.
The N.H.C.A. meets every 1st Monday of the month at St. Joseph’s Hall.
Time: 7pm
Location: 11901 Acacia Ave Hawthorne, CA 90250
